LINEN BLOUSE ORNEK

A linen blouse in a soft milky white shade.

The blouse's embroidery is inspired by Örnek, one of the oldest cultural achievements of the Crimean Tatar people. Based on botanical motifs, each element carries its own system of meanings. In 2021, Örnek was inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

This loose-fit blouse is defined by sculpted shoulder panels that flow into voluminous sleeves with cuffs, secured by fabric ribbons. A modest V-neckline is fastened with three metal snap buttons at the top.
