Welcome to ITEMS Paris 3e (itemsparis.com). These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) govern all purchases made through our online store. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Orders & Acceptance

  • All orders are subject to acceptance by ITEMS Paris 3e.
  • Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirmation does not signify acceptance; we reserve the right to cancel an order for reasons such as stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in Euro and include VAT for EU customers (see Tax & Customs Policy below).
  • We accept payment via means listed on Checkout page.
  • Full payment must be received before an order is processed and shipped.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship to countries listed on our website.
  • Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout.
  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed; delays may occur due to customs clearance, holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Once shipped, ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer.

5. Tax & Customs Policy

a. VAT (Value Added Tax) within the European Union

  • Our store is based in France and complies with EU tax regulations.
  • We collect and remit Value Added Tax (VAT) on all orders shipped within the European Union. VAT is included in the final price at checkout.

b. Orders outside the European Union

  • For orders shipped outside the EU (including Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Norway, etc.), VAT is not collected at checkout.
  • Your order may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, local VAT, sales taxes, and other charges imposed by the destination country’s authorities.

c. Responsibility for Import Taxes and Duties

  • All import taxes, customs duties, local VAT, sales taxes, clearance fees, and other charges imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • These charges are not included in the final sales price or shipping cost displayed at checkout.
  • We cannot estimate or prepay these charges. Please check with your country’s customs office for applicable fees before ordering.

d. Refusal to Pay Duties & Return of Shipment

  • If you refuse to pay import duties or taxes and the package is returned to us, we will refund the purchase price minus original shipping costs, return shipping fees, and any other costs incurred due to the refusal.

e. Compliance with Local Regulations

  • By placing an order, you acknowledge that you are the importer of record and agree to comply with all laws and regulations of your country regarding the import of goods.

6. Returns & Refunds

  • You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days from delivery, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.
  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition.
  • Jewelry purchases are eligible for return for store credit only, unless the item is defective or does not conform to the order. Refunds to the original payment method are not available for jewelry items.
  • Some items (e.g., personalized, engraved, or custom-made) may be excluded from returns; this will be stated on the product page.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is defective or incorrectly delivered.

If a product is found to be defective or does not conform to the order, we will provide a full refund or replacement, including any return shipping costs incurred.

7. Warranty

All products are covered by the legal warranty of conformity as defined by EU law. If you receive a defective product, please contact us within a reasonable time for repair, replacement, or refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the products purchased from us. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France, unless otherwise provided by mandatory consumer protection laws.
