Dosvitky Apron. The embroidered motif refers to dosvitky — traditional Ukrainian evening gatherings of young people during the colder times of the year. The thread embroidery is highlighted with beads, inspired by the naïve rushnyky from the Ivan Honchar Museum collection. A couple, doves, and an angel are the signature symbols of the Ukrainian wedding tradition. It takes up to 10 hours to embroider a single apron with beads by hand.
